Do I agree?

If you disagree with a rule, law, or public policy, it is better to remain silent than to speak out and risk punishment.

Last time I hqve been asked this question in class, I said yes. Today, now that I have read the beginning of "The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas", I realize that some people really don't have a choice and can't stand up for themselves. Today, I say NO. No, for letting people suffer from our laziness. No, for watching people doing things they are not supposed to do and letting them, because we're scared, scared of what is going to happen if we do take a stand. Some people don't have a choice, while we do, this is why we should never stay arms crossed when we have the possibility to help others, who's choices was made for them. One single voice could make a big difference.

What Is A Good Life?

To me a good life is a life full of love and hope. I certainly could say that a good life is too having a lot of money. Though what is the point of that if you don't have anybody to share it with? Personnaly I would like to accomplish something good in life, not particularly something big, just something that would allow me to be connected with other people, that would allow us to reach a goal together and that would allow us to make a difference. I am sure that I am on earth for something. A good and accomplished life for me would be to find out what's the point of me being here.
